Living Life In The Shadows.

“Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men.”

Have you ever taken the time to view life lived in the shadows? Walter B. Gibson, creator of ‘The Shadow’, imagined the shadow personified who knew what lurked in the dark places of life. “The Shadow knows.” He was a writer of fiction who evidently knew something about humanity. He had an even more significant quote which would later be popularized in radio. “Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men.” God knows what lurks in the hearts of men. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?” (Jer. 17:9). A clean heart is something only God can create (Ps. 51:10; Ezek. 36:26). At the heart of the new covenant blessings is knowing God, because He has written a new life story in the hearts of those who are forgiven (Jer. 31:33-34).
