My name is Richard Brown, and I live in northern Ontario, Canada. I studied at Tyndale College University and Seminary, formerly Ontario Bible College and Theological Seminary, as well as several other institutions, including Seneca College, George Brown College, Toronto Baptist Bible College and Seminary, Wycliffe College – The University Of Toronto, The University Of Waterloo, Whitefield Seminary, Reformation International Theological Seminary, and The British Columbia Institute Of Technology.
This is not a traditional blog – if there even is such a thing. It is not about my daily routine etc., which really isn’t that interesting. The site name-ministerium verbi divini is latin for “the ministry of the Word of God.” This site is about an introductory commentary on the whole of the Protestant Scriptures, which I hold to be the infallible inerrant Word of God. I also have some reflections on confessions of the church, and standards from a biblical perspective. I also post thoughts on broader biblical, theological, and worldview issues.
I was ordained in The Reformed Presbyterian Church – General Assembly, but I returned to my career as a power engineer/industrial mechanic. I also like to fly and am working on my private and then commercial pilot’s license, although with no plans for a career change at this time. I am exploring the possibility of once again being involved in church ministry within a reformed fellowship. As for the future of this site, it is under construction, and I am still trying to figure out all the mechanics of it. However, I hope you will be blessed in your visit here.
