Eph. 2:14-18 Peace and Access.

There was a wall that separated the gentiles from the Jews which Christ removed with the offering up of himself for this peace. The ‘ordinances’ refers to those things associated with this temple context, ie., the ceremonial laws only. The law pertaining to sacrifices was fulfilled in Christ. He did not abolish them, for then his sacrifice would not have been required. Rather, his death, his shed blood, fulfilled what the old sacrifices pointed too. There is no longer any enmity either with God or among his adopted children. We are all one in the Christ. Again Paul emphasizes that this was and is  a trinitarian accomplishment. “For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.” (v. 18)
