Mark 4:30-41 Peace In A Storm.

Mark 4:30-41 Peace In A Storm.

One of the seeds sown is the mustard seed, and even though the smallest to a farmer in Jesus’ day, even it grows to become an impressive plant serving a useful purpose (vv. 30-32). Parables served the purpose of discriminating between the godly and the ungodly seeds. To his disciples he explained the meaning (vv. 33-34). Again, Jesus got in a boat and slept as they went on a journey, even though a storm was brewing. The disciples were afraid, but Jesus proved again that he is God, as the wind and the seas obey his sovereign command (vv. 35-39). Those who have faith and do not fear, will also find peace (vv. 40-41).
